Quality Manager Education and Inclusion 

Salary: Up to £60,00 DOE
Car Allowance: £3,600 P/A
Location: Homebase, with national travel and regular overnight stays required

Keys Group’s has a distinct quality department which is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Keys Group quality processes and ensuring that everyone at all levels is aware of their responsibilities and roles within this. 
 
 
Due to continued growth through acquisitions, we are excited to offer a new full-time opportunity within our Quality team, giving the successful candidate the chance to shape and develop the role. Reporting to the Associate Quality Director, the Quality Manager (Education) will play a key strategic role, supporting our Keys Inclusion Pathways provisions to deliver high-quality education and positive outcomes for children and young people. The role champions consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across diverse delivery models.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in line with the organisational quality strategy, developing, maintaining, and reviewing quality assurance policies and procedures across all education services.
  • Plan, conduct, analyse, and report on quality assurance audits, using findings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data and analyse to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Work closely with all other teams in relation to quality and regulatory matters.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Keys Inclusion Pathways services to promote high standards and consistent practice.
  • Devise procedures to collect, analyse, and report quality and performance data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate complaints and non-conformance issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up and learning.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, including Ofsted and Estyn, ensuring new guidance is communicated and embedded.
  • Review external inspection feedback and internal audit outcomes to support ongoing regulatory assurance.
  • Identify training and development needs and contribute to the delivery of training, workshops, and forums.
  • Present written reports to the Directors of Education, Executive education leads and education staff. 
  • Undertake project work, ensuring agreed outcomes are implemented effectively.

About you

  • Essential: Level 5 vocational qualification in education or equivalent preferred
  • Essential: 5 years’ experience of working in/alongside education settings.
  • Essential: Quality inspection / auditing / compliance experience
  • Essential: Knowledge and experience of working with regulators, inspectorates, and external verifiers 
  • Essential: Experience with implementation of corrective action programs.
  • Essential: Full clean driving license and access to my own car.
  • Desirable: Experience delivering and/or working with education in a trauma-informed, SEMH, or SEND settings.
  • Desirable: Experience of delivering or quality assuring functional Skills or comparable alternative accreditation programs. SENCO qualification (NASENCO or equivalent).
