Job Title: Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Home based with Ad Hoc National Travel
Job Purpose
Our Adult Clinical Services Team plays a key role in shaping high‑quality support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and acquired brain injuries. In this role you’ll provide specialist nursing advice, guidance and consultation that directly enhances the care delivered across our Supported Living and Residential services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist mental health nursing input, triage referrals, and contribute to person‑centred care plans and risk assessments.
- Offer clinical guidance on mental health conditions, support during crises, and advise on behaviours of concern.
- Work collaboratively with individuals supported, families, colleagues and external professionals.
- Participate in key meetings such as MDTs, Complex Case Discussions and Pre‑Admission Reviews.
- Support safeguarding processes and promote trauma‑informed, person‑centred care.
- Provide training and consultation to staff and share specialist nursing knowledge.
- Contribute to service improvement, policy development and partnership working with external agencies.
- Keep up to date with research, support outcome measurement and contribute to relevant projects.
- Maintain accurate records, uphold professional standards and follow organisational policies.
- Engage in supervision, ongoing professional development, meetings and reasonable travel as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and carry out additional duties appropriate to the role.
About you
- Essential: NMC Registered Nurse - Adults
- Essential: Minimum of 4 Years experience a crisis team either NHS or Community based.
- Essential: Knowledge of: Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults, Risk Management, social care workforce, Medication and potential side effects.
- Essential: Full clean driving license and access to my own car.
