English Teacher

Location: Remote

£25 - £40/hr

Are you passionate about helping learners thrive?

ALFA is seeking a committed English Teacher to deliver one-to-one virtual lessons to students facing educational barriers and support them in achieving accredited qualifications such as Functional Skills, Entry Levels, and AQA Unit Awards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach 1:1 virtual lessons for learners attending the ALFA programme.
• Plan creative and engaging activities to support learners that have significant gaps in their education.
• Foster positive relationships with our learners.

Requirements:

• A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
• At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment 
• QTS/QTLS is advantageous

We provide every child with the opportunity to excel, specially supporting those unable to access mainstream education due to social, emotional, or mental health challenges, anxiety, or other barriers.We work closely with learners and their families to create personalised learning plans, offering tailored timetables through local tutors, online lessons with subject specialists, and outdoor activities at PEAK centres.
