Key Responsibilities
- Be an active member of the school leadership team
- Support the Headteacher with school strategy and daily operations
- Represent or deputise for the Headteacher when needed
- Oversee pupil progress, curriculum, and standards
- Manage staff and resources effectively
- Help develop and implement the School Development Plan
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Requirements
- Experience in a similar SEN provision
- Proven leadership and school improvement skills
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted and school standards
- Excellent classroom and teaching skills
- Skilled in whole-school behaviour management
- Deep understanding of SEND Code of Practice
- Clear understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance
