Key Responsibilities

  • Be an active member of the school leadership team
  • Support the Headteacher with school strategy and daily operations
  • Represent or deputise for the Headteacher when needed
  • Oversee pupil progress, curriculum, and standards
  • Manage staff and resources effectively
  • Help develop and implement the School Development Plan
  •  Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

 Requirements

  • Experience in a similar SEN provision
  • Proven leadership and school improvement skills
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted and school standards
  • Excellent classroom and teaching skills
  • Skilled in whole-school behaviour management
  • Deep understanding of SEND Code of Practice
  • Clear understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance
