Job Title: Therapist
Salary: Up to £38,000 Pro rata
Location: Sudbury
Working pattern: Hybrid plus travel to services within your region.
Full Time: 3 days P/W
Region – Services grouped by location and may be up to approximately 90 mins travel dependent on candidate location, Full UK Driving Licence required

In this vital role, you'll deliver both direct and indirect therapeutic support, working with care teams to embed trauma-informed, child-centred practices. You'll collaborate across the organisation to ensure each young person's emotional and psychological needs are met.

About you:
- Essential: Relevant accredited qualification in therapeutic approach (e.g. Masters in Art Therapy)
- Essential: Professional registration with appropriate body. HCPC, UKCP, BACP.
- Desirable: Experience of working as a qualified practitioner. Ideally 1+ year post-qualification
- Desirable: Previous experience of working with care experienced children including working with teams around children
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for young people.
- Provide specialist consultation and guidance to regional teams.
- Apply and promote the Keys Connect clinical model.
- Support assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based therapeutic plans.
- Offer therapeutic insight on referred children to assist operational teams.
- Collaborate with psychologists and therapists across the region.
Teaching/Training/Supervision/Consultation
- Provide upskilling sessions in therapeutic approaches and associated relevant subjects
- Provide cross-service consultation on child trauma, attachment, and recovery, in line with Keys Connect and within professional scope
Policy and Service Development
- Contribute a therapeutic perspective to service planning, development, and clinical meetings.
- Support policy and service improvements through agreed project work and implementation of identified therapeutic needs.
- Maintain effective communication with Local Authorities, NHS, and partner agencies.
- Stay informed on current research to support evidence-based practice and the Keys Connect model.
- Support outcome measure administration and, with approval, initiate relevant research projects.
Professional/administrative
- Engage in supervision and CPD in line with professional body guidelines
- Adhere to ethical codes, professional guidelines, and Keys Group policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and support required data collection.
- Uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) principles, promoting a safe, respectful environment
- Remain alert to safeguarding concerns and report incidents appropriately.
- Travel as needed to fulfil role responsibilities.
Due to the nature of the role, it is necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken (DBS).
