Senior Clinical Educator/RMN
Salary: £55,000 (Flexible DOE)
Car Allowance: £3,600 P/A
Location: Homebase, with national travel and regular overnight stays required
We’re excited to offer a full-time opportunity within our Adult Clinical Services at Keys Group. This role involves developing and delivering engaging clinical training packages, including practical skills, to colleagues working across our Supported Living and Residential services in England and Wales.
Our services support adults with Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, and Autism. We’re looking for a motivated, passionate individual to deliver high-quality training and support the development of our clinical services, while flexibly contributing to other clinical workstreams.
- Work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist clinical advice, guidance and support across Keys Group services.
- Develop and deliver engaging, bespoke clinical training packages (online and face-to-face) for Supported Living and Residential teams.
- Undertake assessments and interventions using evidence-based mental health nursing approaches, in line with NICE guidance.
- Promote person-centred, trauma-informed care and contribute to effective risk management and safeguarding practices.
- Provide early clinical input to referrals and pre-admission meetings and contribute to complex case panels and MDT meetings.
- Work closely with the Learning and Development team to identify training needs and support workforce development.
- Deliver clinical consultation, advice and supervision to care teams, students and trainees as required.
- Contribute to service development, clinical working groups and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with CQC/CIW standards.
- Build effective working relationships with internal colleagues, Local Authorities, NHS services and external partners.
- Travel across services in England and Wales as required to fulfil the role.
About you
- Essential: NMC Registered Nurse
- Essential: Registered Nurse Adults (RNA)
- Essential: Postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching, or equivalent
- Essential: Mentoring in practice course, or equivalent.
- Essential: Knowledge of: Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults, Risk Management, Medication and potential side effects.
- Essential: Full clean driving license and access to my own car.
- Desirable: Master’s degree with a post-registration qualification relevant to this role
- Desirable: Leadership and Management Qualifications
- Desirable: Trauma informed Practice
