Wake Night Support Worker - Wings

Salary: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour

Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking Full Time Support Workers to join our AMAZING supportive team at Wings in Mildenhall, Suffolk  - Part time and bank positions available

Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching provided by us they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder into more senior positions

Wings supports up to 6 adults with Mental Health and /or  Learning Disabilities

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

• Prompting service user’s independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests including attending Day Centres, shopping, Bingo and swimming.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication or supporting those to administer their own.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
• Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning, cooking and laundering

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
