Location: East Heckington – Boston Sleaford 

 

Salary: £24,570 - £25,935* (This rate is effective as of 1st April - if you start prior to this date, your annual salary will be £23,400 - £24,765 and will be automatically uplifted on 1st April)


 We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Teaching Assistant

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities
  • Assist with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management
  • Daily reports on learners’ progress and barriers to learning
  • Interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision 
  • A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous
