LOCATION: Cardiff

SALARY: £12.00 - £12.70

HOURS: 35 hours a week,

SHIFTS:  Days/Nights and sleeps.

We provide people with appropriate levels of support to ensure greater independence, develop their full potential and make their own choices so they live the life they want to without limitations. Support provided is bespoke to individual’s needs and varies, from 24-hour support, including overnight support when needed to specially tailored smaller packages. Support can be provided in a variety of settings ranging from a shared house to individual flats to support within the family home. Where appropriate individuals will be supported to manage their own tenancies.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
