Salary: up to £55,000 DOE

About the role:
Working as part of Keys Group Adult Clinical Services, you will provide direct and indirect nursing input for adults within our learning disability, mental health, and Acquired Brain Injury services. The role primarily involves assessment, intervention, and consultation to support high quality care in Keys Group Supported Living, Residential Homes, and Acquired Brain Injury Services.
You will work closely with the Lead Nurse for LD/ASD and Associate Clinical Director to develop and implement clinical strategies, lead task groups, ensure delivery of person-centred, trauma informed care, and provide specialist advice and guidance on Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Reporting to the Associate Clinical Director, this role offers excellent work-life balance, flexibility, and empowers our Lead RNLDs with autonomy over their work and decision-making. The culture within our Adult Clinical team is open, transparent, and built on trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice and guidance on Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Develop, oversee, and audit person-centred care plans co-produced with service users.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and ensure adherence to NICE guidelines.
- Guide staff on Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
- Conduct RNLD assessments for adults referred to Keys services.
- Lead or contribute to Complex Case Discussions, High Risk Panels, and Mortality Reviews.
- Collaborate with Safeguarding teams and maintain compliance with policies.
- Provide training, supervision, and consultation to staff and external professionals.
- Participate in service development, policy planning, and research initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and risk management.
- Uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality, and the Keys Group EPIC values.
About you:
- Registered Nurse with specialist knowledge in Learning Disabilities.
- Experience in clinical leadership, assessment, and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
