School Administrator

School Administrator – Sudbury CO10 5NA

£27,976-£29,432 - Full-time 40hrs a week

Purpose of the Role

To provide efficient and effective administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school office and support the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations including reception duties, telephone and email communications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil and staff records in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events, supporting school leadership and staff.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.
  • Support the administration of admissions, attendance monitoring, and pupil welfare processes.
  • Assist with basic financial administration such as invoicing, ordering supplies, and managing petty cash.

Requirements

  • Relevant administrative or secretarial qualifications or experience.
  • Proven experience in office administration and customer service
  • Awareness of data protection, safeguarding, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
  • Experience within a SEN School
