Salary: £38,000 
Car Allowance: £3,600 P/A
Location: Wales (Cardiff or Swansea)
Hours: 37.5 
Work pattern: Home based and travel throughout the UK as required.

Keys Group is looking for a passionate PBS professional to support our strategic goals by embedding Positive Behaviour Support across services. The role focuses on reducing restrictive practices through proactive, person-centred strategies that improve quality of life and deliver positive, sustainable outcomes for the people we support.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the voice of the child, young person or adult central to all PBS practice. 
  • Support teams to reduce restrictive practices through proactive, person‑centred strategies that improve quality of life. 
  • Build effective partnerships with colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes. 
  • Champion PBS and EPIC values, ensuring governance and best‑practice standards are met. 
  • Provide practice leadership, mentoring and training to PBS Coaches and teams, including support with Functional Behaviour Assessments and PBS plans.
  • Contribute to organisational learning through peer networks, reflective practice and outcome capture.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Positive Behaviour Support qualification (e.g. CAPBS Coaches Award)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a PBS Practitioner or coaching role
  • Experience delivering training and coaching teams
  • Proven impact in improving quality of life and reducing restrictive practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Good analytical skills with experience using data to inform practice
  • High standard of written communication, including reports and action plans
  • Self‑motivated with a commitment to high standards
  • Full UK driving licence, access to a car, and ability to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays

Desirable Criteria:

  • Qualification in Health and Social Care Management 
  • Qualification in Education and Training
  • Degree level qualification in a health or social care field and/or significant relevant experience.
