To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND and trauma histories.
Use assessment data to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development through trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, consistent with the school’s behaviour policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective support
Requirements
Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management in special education settings.
Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
QTS or QTLS
Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective teaching and learning.
