Onboarding Coordinator

Onboarding Officer – Competitive Salary – 37.5 hours per week - Halesowen, Dudley 

Due to an increase in workload, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Onboarding Coordinator to join our busy but fun team in our Halesowen Support Centre. The role will be predominantly home based with one day per week in our Halesowen Office.

As a Onboarding Coordinator, you will work closely with the wider Recruitment Team to manage the full onboarding process for new starters into the organisation. This will include carrying out references, processing DBS checks, right to work checks and all other administration associated with the onboarding of new starters into a care environment. Previous experience of onboarding new starters is essential for this role. 

At Keys Group we specialise in outcome focused support for adults & Children with Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities, Autism and Acquired Brain Injuries. We work in partnership with commissioners to deliver responsive, flexible, specialist support in therapeutic, registered residential and supported living settings across England and Wales. Our individual support plans aim to provide the people we support with more choice and control over their own lives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build excellent working relationships across the group with both colleagues, managers and candidates
  • Process candidates through the onboarding process in a timely manner, with a target of continually driving down the average time to onboard new starters
  • Carry out reference, DBS and right to work checks for new starters to meet full CQC/OfSted regulations
  • Carry out all associated administration related to onboarding new starters
  • Ensure that candidates remain fully engaged and informed throughout the onboarding process and aware of any blockages and delays
  • Attend weekly onboarding calls with service managers to provide a comprehensive update on the status of each candidate in the pipeline and prompt support and assistance from the hiring manager to promote pace

 

Person Specification

  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced Recruitment Admin/Onboarding role is essential
  • Previous experience of managing multiple applications at any one time at varying stages throughout the process
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal operators at all levels and candidates alike
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Organised with an outstanding ability to prioritise
