Job Title: Male Children’s Residential Support Worker
Location: Ely
Salary: 26.7k-28.1k + Additional £3,000-£8,000 per year from sleep in's
Hours: 08:00-22:00 39hrs a week
Full UK Driving Licence is required

The Opportunity: As our EPIC team continues to grow, we're looking for full-time superheroes to join our supportive team in Ely. As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and support, helping young people lead happy, fulfilling lives.
No Experience Needed: Experience within the care sector is not required as we provide full training, funded qualifications, coaching, and development alongside a full induction program to ensure your set up for success at Keys Group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, caring, and loving home environment for children and young people
- Be a positive role model, supporting them in their everyday living needs
- Get involved in fun activities and outings such as football, gaming, cycling and bowling
- Encourage and share hobbies and interests
- Assist with household tasks to maintain a clean home environment
- Build friendships and trusting relationships to help our children feel valued and respected
- Empower young people to make decisions about their lives, promoting independence and confidence
Requirements:
- The ability to build strong relationships with young people, share interests, provide encouragement and actively engage in activities.
- Male only required for genuine occupational reason as per schedule 9 of the equality act 2010.
- A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient with a strong interest in the lives and well-being of young people.
- Great communication skills,with a positive attitude and high energy
- Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins.
