About South Park Enterprise College
South Park Enterprise College is an independent SEMH specialist school for students aged 11-16, many with EHCPs and diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD.
We provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people who have struggled in mainstream schools or face exclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an active and visible member of the school leadership team.
- Lead staff development and drive the sharing of best practice across the school.
- Support the Headteacher with strategic planning and operational leadership.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the School Development Plan.
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Requirements
- A pragmatic strategic thinker with the ability to lead change and bring people with them.
- Someone who understands how to develop staff and build a culture of collaboration, reflection, and high expectations.
- Someone who can lead staff in developing ownership of ambitious, SMART outcomes, while providing the support, challenge, and strategic direction needed to ensure all colleagues — including senior leaders — take shared responsibility for student successes and school improvement.
- A leader who can help shape curriculum experiences that are relevant, motivating, and tailored to the needs of our learners.
- A confident communicator who can represent the school and deputise for the Headteacher when needed.
