About the role
The Bid Coordinator supports the Bids and Tenders team, working closely with the Bid Manager to deliver high-quality, compliant submissions. You will manage key stages of the bid lifecycle, ensuring responses are well-organised, compelling, and submitted on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in bids and proposals within a regulated sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple bids from opportunity through to submission
- Support timelines, trackers, and schedules to meet deadlines
- Upload and manage submissions via procurement portals (e.g. ProContract, Atamis)
- Assist with bid/no-bid decisions and pipeline tracking
- Organise meetings and capture actions
- Collate, format, and proofread bid responses
- Maintain the bid content library and manage document versions
- Liaise with internal teams to gather and track contributions
- Support bid reviews, approvals, and compliance checks
- Ensure submissions meet procurement requirements and evaluation criteria
- Support post-bid reviews and continuous improvement of processes
Essential skills and experience
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Previous experience in a bids/tenders role
