Salary – £28,000
Location –Home based with travel required to schools within your region.

Join a collaborative, forward-thinking team of Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Assistant Educational Psychologists committed to empower young people and educators. We are passionate about helping children thrive through trauma-informed and relational approaches, ensuring every learner feels supported, included, and understood.
The post holder will work collaboratively within the Keys Group Education Clinical Team, alongside colleagues in our schools, to support and embed the delivery of high-quality therapeutic and SEND services to our children and young people. The role is exciting and varied and includes opportunities for developing training packages, supporting schools to problem solve, designing and carrying out research as well as direct work with young people. The Assistant Educational Psychologist role within Keys Group aims to provide core opportunities to develop in the following areas (in line with British Psychological Society Standards of Recruitment and Employment of Assistant Psychologists, June 2024):
- Developing reflective practice skills
- Understanding professional practice and ethics
- Understanding and using supervision
- Developing team working skills
- Understanding risk assessment and management
- Developing communication skills
- Developing knowledge of psychological formulation, assessment, intervention and evaluation
- Developing research knowledge and skills
- Understanding key principles of equality, diversity and inclusion on a practice and knowledge level
About you
You will need
- A degree in psychology
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience using IT systems and recording information appropriately
- Experience of working with young people, ideally those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and / or young people who have experienced trauma. Ideally you will have some experience of working in an education setting.
You must meet the essential criteria as described in the job description and person specification.
Due to the nature of the role, it is necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken (DBS).
