JOB ROLE:  Wake Night Support Worker 

SALARY: £12.00 to £12.70* per hour

SHIFT PATTERNS: 10:00pm - 7:00am 36 hours per week

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Wake Night Support Worker to join our brand-new supported living service in Rushden.

About Us:

Our supported living service supports up-to 16 individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. Our housing-related support service focuses on promoting wellbeing, greater independence and social inclusion.

We believe in the potential of each person we support, and we enable them to work towards their goals, live more independently and take control of their lives. We listen and understand what each person would like to achieve in life. We then work closely with them, their family, circle of support and other professionals to define goals and how we can work together to achieve them.

As a Wake Night Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
