37.5 hours per week

Purpose

 

Working as part of Keys Group Adult Clinical Services Team to provide direct and indirect Nursing input for adults placed within our learning disability, mental health and Acquired Brain Injury services. The role primarily involves providing specialist advice, guidance and consultation to support the provision of high-quality services for Adults in the Keys Group Supported Living and Residential Homes.

 

  • Provide specialist mental health nursing expertise, advice and support across Keys services.
  • Triage referrals and contribute to comprehensive assessments, care plans and risk management processes.
  • Deliver specialist guidance on mental health conditions, crisis intervention, behaviours of concern, safeguarding, and legislative frameworks including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, multidisciplinary teams, statutory agencies and external stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.
  • Lead or contribute to complex case reviews, admissions processes, MDT meetings, mortality reviews and service development initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of person-centred, trauma-informed care in line with NICE guidance and regulatory standards.
  • Provide training, consultation and professional support to colleagues and partner professionals.
  • Contribute to policy development, quality improvement, service evaluation, research and outcome measurement activities.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical governance, record keeping, risk management and professional practice in accordance with NMC standards and Keys Group policies.
  • Participate in supervision, appraisal, continuous professional development and organisational meetings to support personal and service development.

 

About you

  • Essential: NMC Registered Nurse
  • Essential: Registered Nurse Adults (RNA)
  • Essential: Knowledge of: Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults, Risk Management, social care workforce, Medication and potential side effects. 
  • Essential: Significant experience working in community, acute inpatient environments.
  • Essential: Full clean driving license and access to own car.
  • Desirable: Leadership and Management Qualifications
  • Desirable: Trauma informed Practice
