Senior Children's intensive Support Worker

Senior Residential Support Worker - young people intensive

Taunton

SALARY: £13.60 - £14.20 per hour / £27,580 - £28,797 per annum Plus sleep-in allowance, £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep-ins per month, £3,000-£6,000 pa)

Full Time hours - 39 Per Week

We are looking for a qualified Senior Support worker in our new children's home which offers intensive, therapeutic support over a 3 - 6 month placement. You will become part of an amazing team, supporting young people to reach their full potential and have positive outcomes, giving them hope for the future and keep them safe.

This is an exciting new venture where you would be supporting 2 young people who have complex emotional and behavioural difficulties on a 2:1 basis.

What do you need?

  • A minimum of 12 months experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
  • High Resilience, passionate and hands on
  • Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • You need to be able to work flexibly covering long day shifts, weekends and sleeps.
