SALARY: £15.40 - £16.00 per hour Plus - £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,000-£6,000pa)
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Full UK Driving Licence is required

We are looking for a qualified Senior Support worker to lead an amazing team in our 3 bed home for children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be providing therapeutic support to young people, helping them to reach their full potential and have positive outcomes, giving them hope for the future and keeping them safe.

What do you need?
- A minimum of 12 months experience as a Childrens residential Supoprt worker or Senior Children's suport worker.
- Trauma informed
- Great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
- Level 3 qualification in Childrens residential workforce / caring for children and young people
- You need to be able to work flexibly covering long day shifts, weekends and sleeps.

- You will work with the team to promote and support the young people in our care in leading a life of positive development by providing a safe and nurturing environment.
- Ensure the day-to-day management is facilitated in a professional and competent manner and support the Service Manager in providing the best quality care.
- Lead a team along with other professionals, to provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
- Record events and observations, progress reports, preparing and implementing care plans and records
- You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.
