Location: Chasewater Activity Centre, Cannock
Salary: £15 per hour
Type: Term-time only (39 weeks per year)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
Overview
Our Chasewater Activity Centre in Cannock delivers high‑quality outdoor adventure, residential stays and development programmes for schools, MATs and youth groups. We’re proud to offer engaging, confidence‑boosting activities that build teamwork, resilience and personal growth for young people.
Job Purpose
You’ll drive residential and activity bookings by working closely with operations to keep sales in sync with programme capacity. With a mix of nurturing existing customers and generating new business through proactive outreach, you’ll play a key role in expanding our reach with schools and youth organisations. You’ll also work with marketing to ensure Chasewater is promoted through the right channels.
This role is perfect for someone with proven sales experience, strong people skills and the energy to help us grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the residential and activity sales pipeline for Chasewater.
- Generate new business through proactive outreach to schools, MATs and youth groups.
- Manage incoming enquiries, providing excellent service and converting leads.
- Carry out outbound sales via phone, email, social media, events and networking.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and progress.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key education and youth stakeholders.
- Support repeat bookings by delivering a friendly, professional customer experience.
- Collect and share customer feedback to improve services and products.
- Work with the operations team to understand capacity and programme availability.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote Chasewater effectively.
- Share customer insights to support marketing content and campaigns.
- Assist with creating proposals, presentations and promotional materials.

- Proven sales experience, ideally in education, leisure or activity-based sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong relationship‑building skills.
- Highly organised with good time‑management and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and target‑driven.
- Confident collaborating with operations and marketing teams.

Due to the nature of the role, it is necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken (DBS).
