Salary: £27,456 £43,014 | Full Time (40 hours/week)
Purpose of Role
To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teacher will model professional integrity and the EPIC values, work collaboratively within the school community, and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment.

We are a small school which effectively supports children through their educational journey. We are seeking staff members that are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking team where we can shape the next phase of our journey and bring strategic clarity, energy and vision to our school.
We support a vast array of students who have learning difficulties which affect their learning, communication and daily life. We are committed to ensuring that all students learn and are engaged in the appropriate programme of study, which allows them to successfully engage with education and to achieve their very best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- The role focuses on planning and delivering personalised learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of pupils with communication differences, sensory processing needs, and complex and severe learning needs
- Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- collaborative working with families and professionals to support children's progress
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Lead a team and provide clear guidance to Teaching Assistants
- Help to disseminate good practice across the school.
Requirements:
- A committed and passionate view of students with SEND and PMLD
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel understood and empowered to explore, communicate and thrive
- At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND and/or PMLD/SLD unit/provision
- QTS/QTLS is advantageous
