SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher – Middlesbrough

 

Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 | Full Time (40 hours/week)

 

We are seeking a committed and reflective SEN Teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive education for pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

This is an opportunity to work within a specialist, supportive environment where strong relationships, wellbeing and progress are central to success.


The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Use assessment to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly
  • Embed trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support learning and wellbeing
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with school policy
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and external professionals

 

Requirements:

  • Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, complex needs or challenging behaviour
  • Demonstrate inclusive practice, resilience and strong behaviour management
  • Be committed to safeguarding, professional integrity and continuous development

  • QTS/QTLS is advantageous
