More about the Home

Our Southampton service offers a home to six children who have complex physical and learning disabilities. Although the home is registered with Ofsted the home is a mix of social care and complex health needs, which can include but are not limited to, epilepsy, dystonia and respiratory difficulties. All the children are full time wheelchair users and have a variety of challenges including multi-sensory impairments and require alternative communication strategies.

It is a well-established home that has been graded outstanding in it’s last 7 inspections. As the registered manager you will be supported by two highly skilled deputies and a team of specialised therapeutic support workers who undertake delegated health care tasks, assessed by our paediatric nurse. The home has support from an on-site nurse, a specialist occupational therapist, a specialist speech and language therapist and a positive behaviour lead.
