Referrals Administrator (Education)
Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: Midlands
Work Pattern: Work from home, Monday - Friday. 40 weeks per year
Salary: £22,000
Job Summary:
Join our dedicated commercial team and help increase occupancy across our independent SEND schools in England and Wales. We’re looking for a highly organised and compassionate individual to manage and process referrals, ensuring accurate information is shared with schools for timely decisions.

Objectives:
To receive, co-ordinate and process all education referrals made to the Group, taking ownership through the referral journey through to the point of admission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log and review referrals from local authorities, placement officers, SEND officers, and social workers.
- Ensure documentation is complete and referrals are directed to the appropriate service.
- Act as the first point of contact for referral inquiries.
- Liaise with social workers, SEND officers, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate referral reviews with school leadership and manage the full referral process through to admission, including offers and contracts.
- Join weekly calls with commercial and operational teams.
- Maintain accurate referral records in Salesforce (The Link).
- Run reports, and draft offer letters.
- Support the development of referral procedures and policies.
- Collaborate on process improvements and client outcomes.
Skills and Attributes:
- Administrative experience, ideally in education or children’s services.
- Strong organisation, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Resilient and empathetic when supporting vulnerable young people.
