Service: Supported Accommodation for Young People

Job Role: Referrals Administrator – UK Driving license with access to a vehicle essential

Location: Hybrid Role

Salary £25,000 Full time: 40 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Keys Group Supported Accommodation Team.  This is a fast-paced, varied role.  You will be working with the Referrals Manager and operational teams, local authority commissioners and placement teams, ensuring we maintain our referral pipeline and increase Keys Supported Accommodation provision nationally.

Job Role:

To process referrals for Keys Supported Accommodation

To maintain the referral pipeline contributing to the growth of the division

To support the placement planning and admission of young people into Supported Accommodation. 

To develop and maintain excellent relationships with our local authority partners

 Duties:

To ensure referrals are reviewed and processed in a timely manner, working alongside the operational team to meet conversion rate targets

To follow internal recording procedures ensuring records are accurate, clear and of high standard

To liaise and build good working relationships with local authority placement teams, commissioners and all known stake holders

To deputise for the Referrals Manager in their absence

Attendance at commissioning events as required

Participation in external and internal meetings relevant to the work of the team

Contact and liaise with commissioners and placement teams by telephone in response to enquiries

Promoting the specific services that are on offer to prospective purchasers

Maintaining a live database of referrals

Undertake all administration, issuing questionnaires, marketing material, making offers, sending out placement agreements and contracts, issuing brochures and flyers to advise of current vacancies.

Knowledge / Experience

Knowledge of children’s social care

Good computer skills across a variety of platforms

Knowledge of supported Accommodation desirable but not essential

Experience of working in an administrative/sales capacity

Experience of managing referrals in children’s services

Key Competencies:

Ability to build positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders

Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business

Self-driven and able to work as part of a team

Ability to work with a range of IT systems and keep accurate and timely records

Diligence and attention to detail

Written and verbal communication skills
