Quality and Development Manager
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
Car Allowance: £3,600 P/A
Working Pattern: Home based but able to travel throughout the UK
Hours: 37.5 hrs
Ideal location: Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, or Northamptonshire
The Role:
Keys operates a Cross Regional Project across the South of England and Thames Valley, comprising several Residential Children’s Homes and an Independent School. We are looking for an experienced Quality and Development Manager to support the delivery of high-quality care and education services, driving continuous improvement and ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory, statutory, and contractual requirements. As part of the Quality Department, the postholder will provide monitoring, guidance, and support to maintain excellence across the project.
- Monitor and audit services to drive continuous quality improvement and positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and company requirements through quality assurance processes and regular audits.
- Support managers and the Head Teacher to develop, implement and monitor action plans arising from audits, inspections and reviews.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory, legislative and best practice developments, ensuring services remain compliant and effective.
- Identify, escalate and support the resolution of quality, compliance and practice issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Lead investigations, analyse data, monitor outcomes and produce professional reports to support decision-making and service improvement.
- Deliver training, coaching and development activities that promote best practice, continuous improvement and therapeutic approaches.
- Develop effective partnerships, champion co-production, represent the organisation externally and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve service excellence.
Role Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Health, Social Care, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience within a regulated, multi-site environment.
- Experience in quality assurance, governance, and compliance monitoring.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and quality improvement processes.
- Ability to communicate and influence at a strategic level.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the UK as required.
