Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus Car Allowance
Location: Nationwide including travel to our Education Services.

Keys Group has a distinct quality department which is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Keys Group quality processes and ensuring that operators at all levels are aware of their responsibilities and roles within this. The department champions quality and provides leadership with the aim of gaining continuous commitment from operating services whilst assuring compliance to commissioners, regulatory and statutory requirements.
The Quality Manager Education will be a pivotal role within the quality department. Supporting our schools and structured day services to provide high standard of education and training, exceeding those of the relevant regulatory framework.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Quality Policy
- To work in accordance with the organisational quality strategy
- Create and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures for all services in the education division
- Ensure effective maintenance and ongoing review of all policies and procedures across all educational services
Quality Assurance and Support
- Conduct, interpret and implement quality assurance audits
- Continually evaluate adequacy of the quality assurance system
- Evaluate and analyse audit findings, prepare reports to communicate outcomes
- Support and liaise with managing directors, regional managers and head teachers/service managers to implement action plans
- Provide support, coaching and guidance to services in promoting continual quality improvement
- Devise procedures for recording and reporting quality data for analysis
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
- Assist in the training, workshops, conferences and forums as required
- Knowledge on governance policy and procedures
Legislation and Regulation
- Provide professional guidance and up to date advice on all regulatory and legislative changes governing the education division (Ofsted & Estyn)
- Monitor inspection outcomes and support continual quality improvement
- Assure on-going compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure all new guidance/legislation is distributed and check compliance
- Work closely with the all other teams in relation to quality and regulatory matters
Quality Monitoring
- Collect and compile statistical quality data and analyse to identify areas for improvement
- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Identify training and development needs within the education division
- Monitor risk management activities
- Contribute to organisational and service governance
- Present written reports to the Directors of Education, Regional Managers, Executive Head Teachers and education staff
- Present written reports to the Senior Team
- Undertake project work as required and be responsible for the implementation of the outcome of the project.
Education and Experience
- Level 5 qualification or equivalent preferred
- 3 years’ experience of working in/alongside education settings
- Quality inspection / auditing experience
- Experience of working with regulators
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
