Package Description
Keys Group, comprising of Keys, Accomplish & Peak, provide specialist care, education and activity services for vulnerable young people and adults throughout England and Wales.
As part of the development team, you will assist in delivering the group’s organic growth plan. The role will include searching for suitable properties, working directly with other departments within Keys Group, liaising with external consultants and regulators and coordinating certain functions within the team as directed by the Project Director.
The role will involve some travelling. You will be required to work from home and attend meetings when required at our support centre.
You must hold a UK Driving License and have access to your own vehicle which can be used for business purposes.
The role will be 37.5 hours per week.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To coordinate search and identify suitable properties that fit the criteria for Adults Residential, Children’s Residential and Educational services for each of the various departments, then responsible for distribution of identified properties to relevant Project Managers.
- To have an understanding of the search criteria and risks associated to enable shortlist of potential suitable properties and provide a feasibility. This will include the space requirements for each service.
- To have an understanding of the relevant planning use class for the properties searching for and highlight to Project Managers.
- Collaborate and build good positive working relationships with external stakeholders such as land agents, investors, estate agencies, etc.
- Work with internal stakeholders within Development Team and other departments within the Group.
- Maintain a live database with all relevant contact information.
- Complete the registration documentation for Regulatory Bodies
- Help formulate, implement and manage action plans (Smartsheet) within a required timescale and specific to the required task
- Attend meetings as required at our support centre in Halesowen
- Support the Development Team in managing costs effectively, maintaining accurate records of expenditure and maintaining budgeted costs
- Ensure relevant reports are provided in concise and accurate detail, as directed
- To undertake such other work as may be assigned which is consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
- To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training.

- The role will be subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, to be paid for by the company.
