Join our supportive SEMH school in Kings Lynn as a Pastoral Lead, and guide a passionate team dedicated to helping children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
You’ll lead on student wellbeing, build strong relationships, promote independence, and create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can reach their full potential.
 

At Westfield House School:

I am pleased and proud to welcome you to Westfield House School. We are a small school which effectively supports children through their educational journey. Westfield House School are expanding - We have just had a purpose built £2.5 million school added to our current woodland grounds and are excited to be starting the journey of developing the school and its offer to new pupils.

We will be increasing our school numbers and I am looking for people who want to join my amazing staff team in enhancing the educational experience for more pupils for whom mainstream is not right. We offer a bespoke approach to education and follow a therapeutic and trauma informed approach to education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support school leaders by celebrating students, staff, and their successes to build pride and a shared vision.
  • Model school values and treat students fairly and firmly
  • Work with the Safeguarding Lead to ensure student safety
  • Be welcoming to parents, carers, and visitors
  • Support and track progress of vulnerable students
  • Promote positive behaviour school-wide
  • Support students with Behaviour Support Plans, Pastoral Plans, and EHCPs
  • Collaborate with leadership, SENDCo, and colleagues to support students
 Requirements
  • Committed and passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a SEND setting or similar
  • Experience in a similar educational role
