Peak Activity – Chasewater are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and driven Outdoor Instructors to join our team at Chasewater Activity Centre, located just off the M6 in Burntwood, Staffordshire.
At Chasewater Activity Centre we deliver a wide range of land and water-based activities, alongside our 76-bed residential accommodation for unforgettable residential experiences. We work with a variety of groups including schools, DofE, scouts & brownies, youth groups, and corporate teams — meaning no two days are ever the same.
Role Details
- Seasonal role ending 30 August 2026
- 40 hours per week
- Based at Chasewater Activity Centre, with the possibility of working at other centres when required
- Some weekend work may be required
- Potential opportunity for a full-time role from September, subject to availability
Who We’re Looking For:
As an Outdoor Instructor, you will deliver activities that are safe, engaging, and professionally delivered, ensuring participants achieve high-quality learning outcomes.
You should:
- Have excellent communication and people skills
- Be confident leading and managing groups, even in challenging situations
- Be motivated, positive, and enthusiastic about outdoor learning
- Ideally have previous experience in a similar role (although attitude and enthusiasm are just as important)

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must hold at least one of the following (desirable qualifications expected):
- RCI or CWI or other relevant ropes-based qualification
- Archery GB Instructor Award
- Mountain Bike Leader/Instructor or equivalent
- Paddlesports Instructor/Coach or equivalent
- RYA Instructor or equivalent
- DofE Assessor
- Bushcraft Practitioner
- ML or HML Award or equivalent
- RPIOL or equivalent
- Valid First Aid Qualification

Safeguarding
