Regional Manager - Children's Residential Activity Services

Operations Manager (Children’s Residential – Activity and Intervention Services)

Location: North Wales, Staffordshire, Shrewsbury, Gloucestershire,

Salary up to £60,000, plus bonus potential (OTE up to £78,000), plus £3,600pa car allowance

 

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Manager keen to help oversee 6 Activity and Intervention Services – registered as children’s homes in North Wales, Staffordshire, Shrewsbury and Gloucestershire area.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

· Working collaboratively with Senior Management and other Departments within Keys Group to achieve high performance, exceed quality standards and deliver unmatched levels of support to children and young people.

· Act as the Responsible Individual under OFSTED and CIW regulations

· Ensure the provision of quality services

· Managing the regional budget effectively and in line with company financial policies

· Take the lead and support with all regulatory inspections, ensuring actions are met prior to, and following, inspections.

 

Essential Criteria

· As you will be overseeing 6 homes it is essential you have multi-site management experience,

· As all homes have a minimum Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ and CIW Compliant, you will need experience of running Good or Outstanding and Compliant homes,

· As this is overseeing Children’s Residential homes it is essential you have knowledge of Ofsted Regulations, RISCA, as well as Children’s Residential experience

· You must have a relevant Level 5 qualification

· As this role involves visiting the services in your cluster you must have a valid UK driver licence and access to a vehicle you can use for business purposes

This role may suit someone who has previously worked at a Regional Level in Children’s Care or Leaving Care (16+), someone who has turned around an inadequate home to Good or Outstanding, or someone who has mentored new managers.
