KS3 Maths and Science Specialist Teacher

About our school

Stoke School is a small specialist provision which provides education for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who require a smaller, more specialised intervention than can be provided in a mainstream school.

Overview of the role of KS3 Maths and Science specialist Teacher:

  • Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students.
  • Prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn.
  • Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress.
  • Working with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement an engaging Maths and Science curriculum.
  • Delivering exceptional Maths and Science lessons to our Key Stage 3 students.

We would love to hear from people who:

  • Are passionate champions of students with SEND
  • Have at least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment
