Location: Lincoln Nettleham 
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days office based, 3 days WFH
Salary: £32,000
Hours: 40 Hours per week

Job Summary:
As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting managers and employees, providing expert employee relations advice and ensuring compliance with internal policies and UK employment law. You’ll manage a wide range of casework, support performance management, and help improve people processes, all while championing a culture of inclusion, engagement, and recognition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Lead and support casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies
  • Coach and guide managers on handling people issues and improving team performance
  • Keep up-to-date with employment legislation and advise on changes affecting the business
  • Support HR reporting, identifying trends and opportunities to improve people practices
  • Assist with performance management processes, including appraisals and performance concerns
  • Contribute to HR projects, policy improvements, and new initiatives
  • Support HR Administrator in maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant records
  • Champion inclusion across all HR processes and initiatives
  • Provide support to recruitment, L&D, and payroll teams as required
  • Adhere to safeguarding responsibilities
  • Undertake any other duties to support HR and business objectives

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with strong employee relations expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to coach and influence managers effectively.
  • CIPD Level 5 or working towards qualification.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable: 

  • HR experience from a regulated sector.
