Salary: £32,000

Job Summary:
As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting managers and employees, providing expert employee relations advice and ensuring compliance with internal policies and UK employment law. You’ll manage a wide range of casework, support performance management, and help improve people processes, all while championing a culture of inclusion, engagement, and recognition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor for employee queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Lead and support casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies
- Coach and guide managers on handling people issues and improving team performance
- Keep up-to-date with employment legislation and advise on changes affecting the business
- Support HR reporting, identifying trends and opportunities to improve people practices
- Assist with performance management processes, including appraisals and performance concerns
- Contribute to HR projects, policy improvements, and new initiatives
- Support HR Administrator in maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant records
- Champion inclusion across all HR processes and initiatives
- Provide support to recruitment, L&D, and payroll teams as required
- Adhere to safeguarding responsibilities
- Undertake any other duties to support HR and business objectives
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with strong employee relations expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to coach and influence managers effectively.
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards qualification.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- HR experience from a regulated sector.
