Finance Administrator

Job Role: Finance Administrator

Salary: up to £26,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)

Location: Hybrid (4 days from home, 1 day in our Head Office (Halesowen, Birmingham))

Role Overview: Key’s Group are looking for an accurate and empathetic Finance Administrator to support our Finance Compliance team. The ideal candidate will be somebody with significant experience in a finance admin position with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal monies sheet weekly reconciliations 
  • Ensuring all receipts are attached and sense checked 
  • Reconciliation of personal monies sheets to prepaid card transactions
  • Tracking Finance Capacity assessment to ensure they are all up to date and advising the relevant parties of any changes. 
  • Reconciliation and checking of Household funds prepaid cards
  • Ensuring all agreements for personal monies and household funds are up to date and signed
  • Allocation of receipts and payments into bank accounts and daily bank reconciliations this includes all Client bank accounts and Rent/Service Charge accounts
  • Monitoring People We Support/personal money inboxes, dealing with queries/budget requests
  • Processing and then Loading pre-paid cards with daily requests
  • Liaising with appointees/Project/Service Managers for approval of payments 
  • Client Bank Account Monthly reconciliation 
  • Preparation of month end statements for review and posting out to Appointees
  • Contribution to Care charges ~ preparation and processing
  • Ad hoc invoice processing
  • Monthly review of all account to ensure funds on account and available for service users
  • Return of excess funds when necessary

Other Duties:

  • Ad hoc project work
  • Follow up of queries 
  • Review with Manager on all of above, weekly, monthly and ad hoc when required
  • Ad hoc requests to setup or amend standing orders
