Tutor Interviewer & Induction Coordinator

Keys Inclusion Pathway is seeking a highly organised and people‑focused Tutor Interviewer & Induction Coordinator to manage the recruitment, assessment, and induction of tutors joining our service. This role is central to ensuring that only high‑quality, values‑driven tutors are selected, supported, and fully prepared to work safely and effectively with children and young people.
Working closely with Recruitment, HR and operational managers, you will lead tutor interviews, support hiring decisions, and coordinate structured induction processes that set tutors up for success.
This is a hybrid role, combining home‑based working with office‑based activity.
The Role
As a Tutor Interviewer & Induction Coordinator, you will:
- Screen tutor applications and shortlist candidates where appropriate
- Conduct structured interviews to assess teaching ability, communication skills, professionalism and alignment with organisational values
- Provide clear interview feedback and recommendations to recruiting managers
- Coordinate with HR and the Recruitment Team to progress offers and compliance checks
- Support the delivery of tutor induction sessions and manage onboarding documentation
- Create and maintain induction toolkits and resources
- Complete follow‑up check‑ins with new tutors to ensure confidence, engagement and readiness
- Signpost tutors to managers and support teams where further guidance is required
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment and onboarding processes
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics
Working Pattern & Salary
- Hybrid role – home‑based with office attendance as required (Ipswich office)
- Salary: £28,000 per annum, rising to £29,000 upon successful completion of probation
- Monday to Friday working pattern
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience conducting interviews
- Experience working in recruitment and/or education
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented
- Confident managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
Desirable:
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Knowledge of safeguarding within education settings
