ECT Teacher
Package Description
Are you a primary or secondary ECT looking for your first post? Do you want to join our team at an exciting point in our journey? We are looking for someone to join us to teach a small group of year 7 students with EHCPs. You would work with experienced staff to deliver a curriculum which meets their needs and allows for opportunities for creative and practical activities alongside our core offer.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan teaching to achieve progression in pupils’ learning with support and guidance
- Help to engage students with both reading and writing
- Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge for all pupils
- Establish and maintain a safe environment and purposeful working atmosphere which supports learning and in which pupils feel secure and confident
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
- At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
- QTS/QTLS is advantageous
