Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential

JOB ROLE: Deputy Manager

LOCATION: Bishops Castle, SY9 

SALARY: £35,631 - £37,112.40 Per Annum

SHIFT PATTERNS: 39 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle is Essential for this role

With Keys Group, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people aged 8–18 from residential homes. These young individuals often face social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our twelve-week program designed for young people who need a change of scene. It’s all about offering them a break from challenging circumstances, giving them a fresh start, and helping them build confidence and healthy routines. We’re dedicated to supporting each young person through guidance and mentorship, while also encouraging them to stay active and engaged with a range of outdoor activities

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Care Home Manager in the overall management of the facility, including staff management, resident care, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of care staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Help foster a safe, welcoming, and homely atmosphere for young people.
  • Encourages participation in a variety of outdoor activities
  • Aims to keep participants active and engaged.
  • Support the development of healthy routines.
