Children’s Residential Deputy Manager

Location: Welford, lovely rural area with easy access from the M1 and major towns and cities.

£31,600 - £32,800 + additional £3250 - £6500 per year for sleep in’s 

Full time including shifts, admin days and sleeps

Full UK Driving Licence is required

Are you already a Deputy manager or a Senior looking for your next move?

As a Deputy Manager, you will be an integral part of our welcoming and knowledgeable leadership team, being part of a region of 7 children’s homes, with the backing of a growing, national organisation, where you will be actively encouraged to be creative and bring your own unique skills and have the opportunity to influence change. 

You will be supported to gain level 5 qualifications, to grow and develop into future leaders and to take on additional responsibilities which will give you the confidence to step up to manage the home when needed. We will support your passion and interest with subject related training courses and qualifications to develop your knowledge and become a subject champion.

Requirements

• 2 + years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home as a Senior or Deputy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People minimum qualification
• Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience with budgets and rotas
• A full UK driving licence
