Data Analytics Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,0000 DOE
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Halesowen office
Working Pattern: 37.5hrs Mon – Fri
The Role:
Join our growing Data & Analytics team as a Data Analytics Engineer. This exciting role combines analytics engineering, business intelligence, and data platform development, giving you the opportunity to build and enhance the datasets, data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions that support decision-making across Keys Group.
Working across the full analytics lifecycle, you'll transform data from multiple business systems into trusted, accessible insights through our enterprise reporting platform. You'll play a key role in developing our modern cloud-based analytics environment, helping to shape how data is leveraged across the organisation to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Create intuitive visualisations that support operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, analytical datasets, and scalable data models.
- Transform and integrate data from multiple source systems into trusted reporting solutions.
- Apply business logic and modelling best practices to ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability.
- Support the development and operation of our cloud-based data and analytics platform.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs.
- Contribute to data governance, security, documentation, and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions.
- Promote data-driven decision-making by helping users understand and maximise the value of data.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.
- Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience designing and maintaining analytical and dimensional data models.
- Experience building data pipelines and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and reporting best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data & Analytics environment.
