Job Role: Education Tutor
Location: Across Peterborough
Pay: £15 - £35 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: Flexible Self-Employed contracts available
Driving: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle required
About the Role
We're looking for Education 1:1 Tutors to support children and young people across Peterborough who are unable to access mainstream education.
Working on a one-to-one basis, you'll deliver personalised learning, build positive relationships, and help learners improve their confidence, engagement, and outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Deliver one-to-one tuition in English, Maths, life skills, and other agreed subjects.
- Adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities.
- Support learners aged 5-16 with a range of educational and social needs.
- Complete session reports and progress updates.
- Travel to learners' homes or community settings.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with and supporting children or young people.
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and build positive relationships.
- Understanding of SEND, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD is beneficial.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
